UltraShape® is the first ultrasound technology that has the capability of targeting fat cells to disrupt them in order to achieve results that are both measurable and long lasting. Guided by a tracking and guidance system, a handheld transducer is used to deliver this patented ultrasonic energy at a specific depth within the subcutaneous layer of the skin, only targeting fat cells. The membranes of affected fat cells disrupt, releasing triglycerides that are then broken down by the body into free fatty acids and glycerol. These are both processed naturally by our physiological metabolic pathways. Fat reduction in the targeted area results due to this process.
The tracking and guidance system ensures that a targeted area is treated only once, thoroughly and uniformly. Energy is delivered only to the desired area, which is marked before exposure.
